I have been pondering this concept for a day or two now. It's still hard for me to grasp how many barriers I've actually set up for myself based on previous paranoia. it's harder for me to imagine letting my guard down.
So much personal security to alienate myself that now I wish I didn't do it all in the first place. What a plan that wasn't very well thought out.
Now I'v kept myself alienated for more than six years without having noticed it.

You're smart. Smart enough to know that letting your guard down all the time is dumb as fuck. So keep them up, I say,
just work on improving the feng shui: get rid of the barbed wire, add a couple secret passages and hidden entrance doors.
